Down time and dugongs

Hi Everyone, welcome to the blog. Miles and I are dragging the chain, but the kids have been busy. Enjoy.
p.s. turns out dragging the chain is not a nautical saying, and our anchor chain is fine. Not dragging.
p.p.s. That's Garry's anchorage above, our home for the last 2 days. Thick with dugongs. Shy dugongs who don't like to be photographed.

  1. We've been to Garry's Anchorage!

We've never said that we're "dragging the chain", though. We'll make up our own definition and add it to the Galactic nautical lexicon.

So happy that you're sharing the show...though, as we all know, the best stuff never makes it to the blog!

  2. Hey Guys,

Mike put me onto your Blog through his.

Can you tell me a bit more about yourselves when you get the time. I am from Lake Macquarie in NSW and currently re fitting a 39 foot steel boat named Hawkeye.

My cousin is currently cruising the same waters as you guys. He may be past you (north) at the moment though. He is on a 42 foot Jenneau Sun Oddesy by the name of layabout. Kevin is his name. He is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the Coral coast , he goes every year.

    All the Best Paul
